Suzy started her horse career as a rider and eventer in US Pony Club and as a certified American Riding Instructor in dressage and combined training.  After a leg injury ended her riding career, Suzy turned to combined driving.  After years of working with World Champion Driver, Lisa Singer as a student and then assistant trainer, Suzy's hard work paid off when she won her first National Single Pony Championship in 2004.

Since then, Suzy has racked up 3 National Championships; numerous FEI and USEF awards and has competed in 4 World Championships - winning an Individual Gold and two Individual Bronze Medals in addition to the awards won by the US Team.  Suzy has just returned from competing as an individual at the World Pony Championships in Lipicia, Slovenia where her individual combined score put her in 3rd place and earned her another Bronze Medal.

Suzy heads up Stafford Carriage Driving in Coatesville, PA where she teaches and trains equines and drivers of all levels.
