Cones Official Timer	Start watch when 1st nose passes thru start. Stop watch when 1st nose passes thru finish. Stop if Judge rings bell; start when rings bell again. Confer with Backup Timer. Call time to Judge- all numbers on the stop watch.
Cones Ring InGate	Manage flow in/out of arena, greet entries & give instructions as directed by judge, radio entry entering & leaving.
Cones Scribe	Use individual score sheets. Put Comp # on Top. At Judge's command, record ball down, record errors and record time. Fill in Back Up sheet and give individual scoresheet to score runner
Cones Setter	Set cones width at measurement called out. Raise measuring stick if ball falls off one of your cones. Lower stick when Judge acknowledges. Reset any cones touched when out of sight of horse.
Cones Warm Up	Manage flow to arena, keep entries informed of who they are after & when to go to arena.
Dressage Ring InGate	Manage flow in/out of arena, greet entries & give instructions as directed by judge, radio entry entering & leaving, open & close in-gate.
Dressage Scribe	Neatly & clearly record scores and comments from Judge on forms provided. Check completeness & get Judge to sign then give to score runner.
Dressage Warm Up	Manage flow to arena, keep entries informed of who they are after & when to go to arena.
End of E Judge	Record any "Holds". Give Honey Card to End Scorer to calculate score. Ask competitor if any problems. Review scored Honey Card with competitor and get them to sign. You also sign and give card to Score Runner.
End Timer	Check competitors do not stop or deviate after last hazard. Record finish time (as 1st nose crosses) on form & Honey Card. Note vehicle damage (see rules), initial Honey Card and give to End of Trot Judge
End Trot Scorer	Using special calculator, calculate Seconds Over/Under, Total Task Points and calculate Score. Give Honey Card back to Judge. Record score on blank score sheets posted on board and on backup sheet.
Floater	Do jobs assigned by Volunteer Day Manager
Grounds Crew Team Member	Go where needed and set up, move or repair elements of the course, volunteer/judge shelters, boundries, trash cans, etc.
Hazard Asst. Observer	Observe the route the competitor takes and assist Hazard Observer in completing score sheet. Record time and errors on backup sheet. Also act as backup to official timer.
Hazard Hold Timer	Call "horse coming". Assertively stop entry 50m before Hazard if it is not clear. Holds should be FULLOR 1/2 MINUTES, ONLY. Tell competitor when will restart & give 10 second countdown from the point of hold up. Record Holdup Time on Backup Sheet. C
Hazard Observer	Lead hazard team, draw/check route on score form, note errors/corrections/holdups/gait faults on score form, put on sticker if any anomolies, decide time, record time. Stay at end for appeals.
Hospitality Runner	Transport voluteers to stations and back. Make regular rounds to Rings, Start/End, TB Trot Observers, Road Crossing Guards and Spotters, etc. with drinks, ice, snacks, lunches & relief people.
Marathon Course Pickup	Follow last entry by 5 minutes and pick up signs, etc. that mark the course. DO NOT TAKE SIGN/GATES OFF HAZARDS. Gates need to be left up in case of inquires or protests.
Marathon Road Crossing	Stop traffic to allow safe passage of entries. Assure entries it is clear to cross. Two people assigned to each station so that each can take a break.
Mini Safety Check	Write name and competitor number on Honey Card. Collect safety sheets. If you are also Watch Bear record points earned on Honey Card. Give card to competitor or gator and tell them to report with it to the Starter.
Photographer - Volunteer Story	Shoot pictures of volunteers for website, newsletters and cards
Picnic Hospitality	Monitor picnic tables to assure competitors/volunteers/officials are happy.
Ribbons & Awards Lead	Manage Ribbons & Awards
Safety Check	Greet competitor, write name and number on Honey Card. Collect safety sheets. If you are also a (Watch Bear record points earned on Honey Card. Give card to competitor or gator and tell them to report to the Starter.
Score Runner	Collect scores from Dressage and Cones Judges and/or Honey Cards from End of TBT; assure sheets are signed before leaving the Pickup Location. Assure sheets for each entry stay together; deliver to scorer. Be quick!
Scoring Assistant	Help Scoring Team Leader Record Scores/Calc Penalty Points, Publish Results
Starter	Record Competitor # on backup sheet and assign a start time (start entries 4 minutes apart). Write start time on your backup sheet & and the Honey Card and initial. Give Honey Card to competitor, give countdown: 2m, 1m, 30, 10,9,etc.
Vet Box - End of E Scribe	Record temperature, heart rate, respiration, time for check back and vet comments on forms provided. As vet to pick Best Conditioned.
Watch Bear	Observe how the Entry performs the required task at your station and decide whether the task was performed successfully per your Task Instruction Sheet. Record score on backup and Honey Card. Stay at the end for appeals.
Wheel Measurer	Place cones against widest part of rear wheels. Measure width between cones. Add clearance & record on forms and cards provided. Tell competitor to present card to Cones In Gate when ready to drive Cones.
